Elleke at the Big Elma counter.

The cafe

Big Elma opened in Coburg in 2023.

The name comes from Elleke and Emma. Elleke runs the kitchen. Breakfast and lunch, Wednesday to Sunday, a short walk from the Merri Creek. Catering and events when the occasion needs more than a table booking.

The rooms

Three spaces on Nicholson Street.

Breakfast and lunch are relaxed. An event uses the same rooms, with the food and the hosting planned around the occasion.

The indoor room. Suited to a seated group that wants to stay close.
